Personally, I’d rather pick Wii Mario Circuit over Wii Luigi Circuit. The retro courses then would be a mushroom and flower cup course, rather than two mushroom cup courses.

I honestly agree with Super bell subway over Sunshine Airport. Although I prefer Sunshine Airport, it would be a bit redundant since there would already be two star cup courses. If sunshine Airport was in, 1/2 or 50% of the WII U courses would be star cup courses

seriously what brand new games will Switch 2 have at launch because Nintendo has given away so many new games for Switch 1 it's going to be years until new entries in many franchises? other than 3D Mario and Mario Kart that are all but guarantee there isn't much for Switch 2 first year

Mario Party Jamboree and Metroid Prime 4 were the 2 most excited announcements for this Direct. Mario Party Jamboree looks like a lot of fun, the boards looks a lot like fun, especially the Rainbow Galleria, im glad ND Cube is finally making their first actual great brand new Mario Party. The last announcement of this Direct being Metroid Prime 4 looks pretty exciting, ive been waiting 7 years for a full reveal, altough it seems strange how it said "2025" at the end without giving us a date, this could potentially be another Breath of the Wild situation, because it looks like Nintendo are marketting it as something "huge".

I think there’s a chance that Nintendo might add another N64 retro to prevent an unbalanced retro track selection. Most likely an N64 retro from DS or Wii. I think 8DX DLC tracks（Ninja Hideaway etc.） is all ineligible. Nintendo will avoid selling same tracks twice in a short period of time. SNS tracks will have low priority if the same type has already appeared. In particular, the possibility of Bowser's Castle 1 & 2 is low since BC3 has just appeared in BCP. The same goes for Donut Plain 2 since 3 is included in the standard track of MK8. Personally, I'm a little doubtful whether Standard 8 Nitros will also appear in the next Mario Kart game. MK8 & 8DX has been selling for too long, and 8DX tracks have been running for too long. Additionally, in order for many Standard 8 Nitros to reappear, it is a prerequisite that the anti-gravity system continues in the next Mario Kart.

HDRookie: You analysis is wrong, because if your analysis is correct then Nintendo would not have nerf bagging, reason Nintendo nerf bagging because everytime someone does bagging they always win even against very good players even in non bagging race this makes it more fun and fair for everyone, and now they even patch more of the bagging so now if you stay in the back on purpose at the same item box set now even moving forward into it gives you bad item, I did not test going out of bounce with that new patch but I'm really sure if you do on purpose to go out of bounce it would not allow you to bag. I think the only item mode that allows bagging is custom item, even if you leave them all on. However I did not test it yet, but maybe official custom item mode if everything is on, all of the item shuffle with each other frequency of apperance, so that is why I thought bagging might work because of that. I did testing I went offline 2 player pick vs mode so I can pick the official Customize item, and turn off CPU, I kept all item on, then while player 2 does nothing me player one in first place I got a fire flower in first place and that is an item in both normal item, and frantic item that you can never have in first place, and then while staying in the same row while staying in first place boomerag another item you can't receive in first place.

Something I just noticed: I tend to watch your videos at a lower speed than most other UA-cam videos. This isn't because you talk too fast, it is because you say more interesting things than other content creators, IMO. Its like you said about making content just to make content. When someone does that, they end up not really saying anything, like in an essay trying to hit a word count. But the way you write your videos is the way good writers write.

Thank you for this video! I agree, it is better to do UA-cam as something you want to do. Chasing trends and algorithms is often more trouble than it's worth. If you get successful by switching to something you don't really enjoy, you risk becoming dependent on it and not knowing when to stop. I must say that pretty much every video you've made has been highly entertaining to me. I share that same niche interest in the inner workings of Mario Kart, from the perspective of logic and both casual and competitive play. I am working on personal projects that I am excited to one day share. Your videos have been one of the biggest sources of inspiration for the project I am most excited about! You realize that the reason Nintendo brought back the most popular and well deserved courses is the fact that they wanted to spread out remakes across the series since including probably most of the tracks you listed because the variety Nintendo chose was devoted to more of the fans of the games those came from, plus Nintendo probably thinks more of the original than the remakes.
